Description

After posting a hires mosaic of the moon yesterday, I dare to showcase the result obtained with a small Ø71mm/FL=450mm F6.3 APO because I was curious to learn what real a difference aperture makes when the air is rather turbulent. From the conclusion, a small APO generates pleasingly sharp lunar globe portraits, but as you zoom in with a barlow you will no doubt miss your larger mirror.
